The current iteration of Edina Men’s Chorus began approximately thirty years ago when then-director Dr. Robert Peterson decided to bring together men from the community and faculty to sing alongside his high school tenors and basses. The choir continues its mission of inter-generational music making, and is a much-loved institution in the Edina community.

New members are always welcome. No audition nor previous experience is required. Rehearsals are most Wednesdays during the school year, 7:15am-8:00am in the Choir Room W325 (located above the Main Office, inside Door 5). Come join us for our next cycle of music; you’ll be warmly welcomed!

This groups sings the National Anthem at the Homecoming Football Game, performs in the October Fall Concert, February Winter Concert, and the popular Current Jam Concerts at the end of the school year.

Our repertoire includes virtually anything written for men's chorus, from Renaissance motets to Barbershop to pop tunes.
